Homemade Lemon Lip Balm

Lip balm


Making your homemade or diy lip balm is the perfect, mostly used when in winter because the snowing period can be harsh to some folks. You can make this lip balm and give out as a gift to those suffering from chapped and dry lips

Firstly you will need to get your chapstick bottles, you might also want to try out some flavours while preparing your lip balm. And I tell you it is a fun activity.

The fragrance you get when using lemon is very beneficial for your lip. Well those who are into lemons will find it a nice scent. But just incase you are not a lemon kind of person, then you can try other flavours that you love and you will still get the benefits of a homemade lip balm.

So Below Are Tips To Make Your Lemon Or Any Other Flavor Lip Balm


INGREDIENTS

■ 1 tablespoon beeswax pellets

■ 1 tablespoon pure coconut oil

■ 2 drops of raspberry essential oil

■ 2 drops lemon oil or flavour

■ 5 lip balm bottles or tubes


DIRECTIONS

■ In a measuring cup, add in beeswax pellets and coconut oil

■ Heat in a microwave  or stove top on low heat for 60secs stirring it halfway

■ Mix in your raspberry essential oil and lemon flavour or oil

■ Now carefully pour the liquid mix into the empty lip balm bottles

■ Put it inside the freezer to set for about 5 mins,

■ Your lip balm is ready for use.
