Ripe Orange Peel For Hair Loss, Itchy Scalp, And Dandruff

When you consume your oranges, you may need to consider the health benefits the peel will have for your hair. Orange peel has got oil called Limonene, which helps combat dandruff, itchy scalp, and hair loss and, in turn, helps condition the scalp.

Below Are Two Methods On How To Use Orange Peels For These Issues

METHOD 1

1. Wash the orange, and use a knife to peel the out skin.

2. On freshly washed damaged hair, part the hair to expose the scalp, then take up the orange peel, squeeze it properly, and begin to apply it to the scalp section by section, targeting the scalp alone.

3. Repeat in the same direction changing the orange peel from time to time till the scalp has gotten enough coverage.

4. Massage scalp thoroughly and allow to sit for 20 minutes, then proceed to deep condition your hair.

5. Rinse your hair thoroughly with clean running water and style as desired.

METHOD 2

1. Wash the orange and grate the top layer of the orange skin alone to produce zest. You can use a zester to do this.

2. Turn the grated orange skin on a clean cotton cloth or cheesecloth and squeeze to release liquid

3. Part wash clean damp hair and apply on the entire scalp alone, section by section, don’t apply in excess.

 4. Massage scalp, allow to sit for 20 minutes, then proceed to deep conditioning your hair.

5. Rinse thoroughly and style your hair. I hope you find this post helpful. You can always use the comment box to share your thoughts and contributions.
